你要用精金做一面牌，在上面按刻图书之法刻着归耶和华为圣(出28：36)。
非圣洁没有人能见主(来12：14)。神是个灵，所以拜他的，必须用心灵和诚实拜他(约4：24)。我在亲近我的人中要显为圣；在众民面前，我要得荣耀(利10：3)。我们都像不洁净的人，所有的义都像污秽的衣服(赛64：6)。殿的法则乃是如此：殿在山顶上，四围的全界要称为至圣(结43：12)。耶和华啊，你的殿永称为圣，是合宜的(诗93：5)。我为他们的缘故，自己分别为圣，叫他们也因真理成圣(约17：19)。我们既然有一位已经升入高天尊荣的大祭司，就是 神的儿子耶稣。所以我们只管坦然无惧地来到施恩的宝座前，为要得怜恤，蒙恩惠，作随时的帮助(来4：14，16)。
Thou shalt make a plate of pure gold, and grave upon it, like the engravings of a signet: HOLINESS TO THE LORD. EXO. 28:36.
Holiness, without which no man can see the Lord. — God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth. — But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags. — I will be sanctified in them that come nigh me, and before all the people I will be glorified. This is the law of the house: Upon the top of the mountain the whole limit thereof round about shall be most holy. — Holiness becometh thine house, O LORD, for ever. For their sakes I sanctify myself, that they also might be sanctified through the truth. — Seeing … that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us … come boldly unto the throne of grace. that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.

八月二十六日 晚课
我的福杯满溢(诗23：5)。
你们要尝尝主恩的滋味，便知道他是美善，投靠他的人有福了!耶和华的圣民哪，你们当敬畏他，因敬畏他的一无所缺。少壮狮子还缺食忍饿；但寻求耶和华的，什么好处都不缺(诗34：8-10)。他的怜悯不至断绝。每早晨这都是新的。你的诚实极其广大(耶哀3：22，23)!耶和华是我的产业，是我杯中的份；我所得的，你为我持守。用绳量给我的地界，坐落在佳美之处；我的产业实在美好(诗16：5，6)。
或世界，或生，或死，或现今的事，或将来的事，全是你们的(林前3：22)。愿颂赞归与我们主耶稣基督的父 神，他在基督里曾赐给我们天上各样属灵的福气(弗1：3)。我无论在什么景况都可以知足，这是我已经学会了(腓4：11)。敬虔加上知足的心便是大利了(提前6：6)。我的 神必照他荣耀的丰富，在基督耶稣里使你们一切所需用的都充足(腓4：19)。

O taste and see that the LORD is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him. O fear the LORD, ye his saints: for there is no want to them that fear him. The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger: but they that seek the LORD shall not want any good thing. — His compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.
The LORD is the portion of mine inheritance and of my cup: thou maintainest my lot. The lines are fallen unto me in pleasant places; yea, I have a goodly heritage. — Whether … the world, or life, or death, or things present, or things to come; all are your’s. — Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ. I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content. — Godliness with contentment is great gain. — My God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
