叫饥饿的得饱美食，叫富足的空手回去(路1：53)。
你说：我是富足，已经发了财，一样都不缺；却不知道你是那困苦、可怜、贫穷、瞎眼、赤身的。我劝你向我买火炼的金子，叫你富足；凡我所疼爱的，我就责备管教他，所以你要发热心，也要悔改(启3：17-19)。
饥渴慕义的人有福了，因为他们必得饱足(太5：6)。困苦穷乏人寻求水却没有，他们因口渴，舌头干燥。我耶和华必应允他们，我以色列的 神必不离弃他们(赛41：17)。我是耶和华你的 神，你要大大张口，我就给你充满(诗81：10)。你们为何花钱买那不足为食物的，用劳碌得来的买那不使人饱足的呢?你们要留意听我的话，就能吃那美物，得享肥甘，心中喜乐(赛55：2)。我就是生命的粮，到我这里来的，必定不饿；信我的，永远不渴(约6：35)。
He hath filled the hungry with good things; and the rich he hath sent empty away. LUKE 1:53.
Thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods and have need of nothing: and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked. I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich. As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore and repent.
Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled. — When the poor and needy seek water, and there is none, and their tongue faileth for thirst, I the LORD will hear them, I the God of Israel will not forsake them. — I am the Lord thy God … open thy mouth wide and I will fill it. 我的脚几乎失闪，我的脚险些滑跌(诗73：2)。
我正说我失了脚，耶和华啊，那时你的慈爱扶助我(诗94：18)。 西门，西门!撒但想要得着你们，好筛你们像筛麦子一样。但我已经为你祈求，叫你不至于失了信心(路22：31，32)。义人虽七次跌倒，仍必兴起(箴24：16)。他虽失脚，也不至全身仆倒，因为耶和华用手搀扶他(诗37：24)。我的仇敌啊，不要向我夸耀。我虽跌倒，却要起来；我虽坐在黑暗里，耶和华却作我的光(弥7：8)。你六次遭难，他必救你；就是七次，灾祸也无法害你(伯5：19)。 若有人犯罪，在父那里我们有一位中保，就是那义者耶稣基督(约壹2：1)。凡靠着他进到 神面前的人，他都能拯救到底，因为他是长远活着，替他们祈求(来7：25)。
